Integrated LED lighting
A patented single strip-glow LED runs the length of each board and lights the ground as the step drops. No bolt-on light pods, no separate wiring run, nothing hanging under the sill to catch on a kerb.
Automatic entry and exit
The board drops four inches the moment a door opens and retracts flush when it closes. The control module reads the vehicle’s own door sensors, so there is no switch to remember and nothing to operate with your hands full.
Safety and grip
A ridged, anti-slip stepping surface holds securely in rain, snow and mud. An integrated obstruction sensor automatically stops and retracts the board if anything is in its path — a foot, a kerb, a snowbank.
450-565 lbs per board
Toughened steel brackets, zinc-galvanized against salt and standing water corrosion, carry 450-565 lbs per side without flex. The aluminum extrusion above them is powder-coated inside and out for durability.

Absolutely makes my car ultra luxury and stands out now
Love the running boards, work perfectly for my wife. They were not the easiest to get working. Had two different shops work on installing, neither could get them to work. Ending up talking to your tech support with some help, but it took a gentleman named Eddy out of Florida and a whole day and I wired them myself. Eddy was the best help of anybody.
We love our new steps and would recommend them.
I purchased the AutoTech Running Boards for my 2025 Lincoln Aviator. I absolutely love this product. Everyone has remarked how cool they look, especially with the lights. This company shipped my Running Boards on the same day that I have made my purchase and they arrived the next day. They also gave me the name of the company in San Antonio that they recommended to install the Running Boards, and that company did an excellent job. I unfortunately must have done something wrong, which caused the end cap of the passenger side, running board to come off. I contacted this company and explained the problem and sent a picture. They responded immediately and actually shipped the replacement part in the mail on the same day. This company has excellent customer service as well as a great product!
We received the running boards very fast, we received a call offering to connect us with an installer we appreciate but our son has an automotive shop and was able to install. I might mention they function wonderfully and are perfect for a person who has difficulty stepping up into an SUV. Thank you for cautioning us on wiring instructions and furnishing proper instructions to follow, it is very involved to integrate it with existing complex electrical systems in newer vehicles. We certainly recommend you guys and your customer service.

The instructions were not good. I had my mechanic install and he told me that he had no direction with the wiring. He was able to figure things out, but it took much longer then anticipated. I later found a bolt in my driveway. I brought it back to my mechanic, he said one of the factory set bolts fell out.

The running boards work perfectly and have fully served the purpose of making my wife's entry into the vehicle much easier. They are also very nice looking and well built. Our installer in Cincinnati did a fantastic job. He even added an additional feature by installing a switch to deactivate the running boards if weather/road conditions make it practical.

Auto Tech went above and beyond to get the running boards engineered to work on my 2025 Lincoln Aviator Premeir. It took several weeks but they modified/engineered the running boards/wiring to work on my car. Unfortunately, after about a week, I noticed the passenger side was not lighting up. After a closer look the end cap and light were missing. The installer has contacted Auto Tech. If this issue can be resolved, I would be very happy to update my review. The running boards were beautiful and added class to my already classy Lincoln Aviator. I expected these to work and last longer than 1 week.
I am surprised to see no other 2025 Lincoln Aviator owners haven't had issues with these running boards. Mine have failed twice, requiring new door lock switches to be installed. The boards stop working and the electronics on the 2025 Aviator gets screwed up. I had to hold my door shut manually while I drove to Lincoln for the fix.

A reputable firm installed the running boards on my 2025 Lincoln Aviator. It worked for a couple of weeks - looked and worked really cool. THEN electronic issues stated occurring all over my Aviator. Door latch stopped working, conflicting errors kept popping up on my screen. After troubleshooting the issue for 10 days, Lincoln of Annapolis disabled the running boards, and the errored warnings all went away. I was so disappointed to find out that your advertised 2025 Aviator running boards do not work - in fact they created all kinds of trouble with my vehicle. I would like to return the running boards and get a refund!
