So I had Total Customs and Tinting install the running boards and they did a great job even though the 4 hours install time changed to 6 hours and they had to keep our car over night. Evidently the installer needed a couple hours to learn how to install them. At $125. a hour I didn't think I should have to paid for them to learn how to install them. But they did a great job. The running boards seem to be a little of the flimsy side because when I step on them they flex. The ones on my truck do not flex at all. I was also a little upset that they were not American made.
Just outstanding service with ordering & then helping coordinate the install. Had them delivered to business that was doing the install.. arrived on time & they emailed the company to ensure the install would be performed correctly! The running boards?? They speak for themselves. My wife loves them big time.. my granddaughter thinks they're really neat! Couldn't be happier!

I have a 2025 Ford Explorer and I have been looking for a set of power running boards for a while and the only thing that I could find was boards that didn’t retract or ones that didn’t fit without mods. I don’t remember how I found the AutoTech running boards but they looked like what I wanted. They are not cheap but they are worth the money because they fit the vehicle correctly and they are made of quality material. I especially like the led lights. I am very satisfied with the AutoTech Trends power running boards, I highly recommend them.

I was very skeptical at first because these are the only power boards that I could find for the Explorer. Everything arrived as described and installation was very straight forward with instructions... I do like the LED lights as well!

I contracted an installer in CT and they coordinated the installation. This installer has many years of experience with running boards, and was recommended by two local Ford dealers. The AutoTech Trends boards fill a gap for the 2022 Ford Explorer because other manufacturers do not make a solution for the Explorer. The local installer provided feedback that the system has very high quality running boards and the other hardware and power system work excellent, but the coated steel brackets are not what they usually install in CT due to the winter road treatments, they prefer anodized Aluminum or galvanized steel. I will keep an eye on the hardware during the upcoming winter seasons. The installer did require technical assistance since the AutoTech design was different, and they reported a slight delay in attaining assistance. Bottom line, the power boards are working great, no alignment issues and the lighting is excellent. So far I am very happy.

I bought AutoTech trends running boards for my 2025 Explorer, local installer said they could install them in 4 to 5 hours. I dropped the Explorer off on a Monday evening and they had it Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and called Friday afternoon telling me it was ready. The running boards looked terrible; they said that was the best they could do. I called AutoTech and spoke with Sou; he told me to make another appointment with them and have them call him and he would explain to them how to adjust the boards. I did that and when they finished the running boards looked worse! I sent pictures to Sou; and he called me and said he was sending a new set of running boards to me. I went to Ultimate Audio where I had some previous work done and the owner told me they would take care of this. Ultimate Audio had the Explorer for 6 hours and installed the new boards and packages old one for me. Every call or message I sent Sou was answered in a timely manner he was very professional, courteous and helpful; and told me he would do whatever needed to make certain I was happy with the running boards. The AutoTech running boards not only look good they deploy low enough for my handicapped wife to step into the Explorer. I appreciate all the help and assistance that Sou and all the AutoTech staff provided!!!!!

Boards look great the installer did have some issues with the 2025 Explorer because there was no block behind the obd port and they had to find another connection near center of dash. This should help with install instructions in the future
The order process worked great. Shipping was OK, shipped from two locations and that was not made clear in the beginning, I received the mounting kit and motors for the boards about a week before the running boards arrived. I emailed a few times and never got a response, but they did make it. I set up an appointment to have my shop install them. There was a problem in that there were no install instructions, and it took a few phone calls to your tech to get these installed, then....one of the control modules was defective. This was replaced and additional time was spent with your tech to make sure the equipment was working as promised in your sales info. It did and does. I was told by my shop they were not compensated for the time to repair something that was not their fault. I see you offer a 10% discount for a review with video or pictures on additional orders. You might be well served to pay an hour of shop cost to the installer as he might be willing to recommend your product to others.
