Integrated LED lighting
A patented single strip-glow LED runs the length of each board and lights the ground as the step drops. No bolt-on light pods, no separate wiring run, nothing hanging under the sill to catch on a kerb.
Automatic entry and exit
The board drops four inches the moment a door opens and retracts flush when it closes. The control module reads the vehicle’s own door sensors, so there is no switch to remember and nothing to operate with your hands full.
Safety and grip
A ridged, anti-slip stepping surface holds securely in rain, snow and mud. An integrated obstruction sensor automatically stops and retracts the board if anything is in its path — a foot, a kerb, a snowbank.

Love the running boards, installation was pretty straight forward, I am old school so better paper directions in the box would have made it better for me but all in all very satisfied. Would highly recommend this product.
Had my mechanic installed cause I had no way to get the vehicle off the ground. Found a crossbar underneath he was concerned about it, he went through the instructions that I gave him after he read itt he said it was very simple. I’m very pleased with these it makes it much easier getting in and out of the vehicle. Thank you auto Tech for all your help!
Had the units installed. Technician had to contact you several times to get current, specific information about wiring issues. Otherwise they were just what we needed for my wife to get in and out of the Grand Cherokee.

The running boards look and work great. There were a couple of hiccups. First they arrived with no instructions. A bolt was missing and some of the instructions were unclear. It would be nice to have a better location for control module. But that said I could not be happier. They are great. Perhaps you might think about a delay so that they would stay lit for 30 seconds after exiting the vehicle. But the even light when remote unlock is triggered that is nice.
Completely changed the way my wife enjoys the vehicle. The fact that they light up makes a huge deal after dark.
Easy installation directions and video on how to install went very well love the lights look great wiring was easy perfect fit.
I really like the running boards. they look nice and are helpful to my wife getting in and out of the car. Installation took about 3 hours longer than anticipated. Had them installed 2/17/25 however on 2/20/25 they stopped working I returned to the installer and they repaired them.
These power steps seem to be built very well, the only thing that would be better for me would have been printed instructions but I’m 70 years old. I guess I’m old school would recommend to anybody
The boards and equipment are really good quality and instructions are fairly easy to follow. At this point, I have not installed them as yet but will have them on shortly as I am also working on a remodel with time hard to get all things accomplished.
Had these professionally installed and love the way that work. The lights add a touch of class to the vehicle. I would recommend these side step to anyone.
Got running boards as promised, had them installed they worked great and got comments from several people that noticed them. There was an auto lock feature that I was not aware of, contacted Auto Tech they called me back with the solution and problem solved, I appreciate how knowledgeable they were and willing to help. Great Customer Service!
Excellent service and product
Purchased the running boards for my 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee and love them! Makes getting in and out so much easier. Took a bit to get them installed, but the tech support was very good, which really helped. We took it to our local mechanic afterwards, just to have everything checked over and the wires tightened. The look is fabulous, very classy! Would highly recommend. A+
IMPRESSIVE!! What an amazing quality product that my local installer said was a quality you'd expect from a a high end vehicle. Most importantly my 84 year old Mother that lives with me can safely enter and exit the vehicle. All in this was a $3k expense including installation. Well worth it by preventing my Mom from falling and being hospitalized.
I expect to have them installed next week and will give you an update. I planned to install these running boards myself but without detailed video instructions, I didn’t feel comfortable doing the installation.
Hats off to AutoTech on a great product and outstanding customer service! The steps are wide enough to safely use, and lights add safety at night. The process was seamless…I called and talked to Sou before I purchased and he answered all my questions honestly and recommended an installer near me. I talked to installer before purchase and he agreed it was a good product and easy plug and play installation. After purchase and during install we had a small problem with a defective control module. Sou and AutoTech were on the phone with the installer and Sou overnighted a replacement part. The whole process was easy and Sou followed through with me and installer till he was satisfied we were happy! Great customer service! We love the power steps and recommend them!

Purchased the running boards, had them installed at the dealership. The motor bumps up against the gas tank that is alarming. The running boards look beautiful and work like a charm. Other than the motor butting against the gas tank, I have no complaints.
Needed running boards to assist my wife. Found these in my search and decided to purchase. Quality Caps in S.C.S. Mi. Was my installer. They said the boards are of high quality and they had no installation trouble. B.B.B.

I'm giving 5 stars because so far the running boards are really nice. They are working great. They deploy in and out very quickly and quiet on the outside. Inside, you do hear a little thud when they first go out or come in. It was a little jarring at first but you get used to it. Here is where I would give less than 5 stars. I reached out to the company and asked them to connect me with a local company that would do the install. They have this listed as a service on the website. Nobody ever got back to me and we couldn't find a local company that felt comfortable installing a product they were unfamiliar with. So, we did it ourselves. The video is helpful but it took 13 hours start to finish. Some things weren't super clear and we watched the video over and over, pausing at each step. I do recommend buying a trim removal kit off Amazon. The one we bought was $10 and it was super helpful. No trim was damaged and it came off super easy with the appropriate tools. If you've done this kind of install before it could be pretty easy but for the novice allow yourself an entire day, be patient and walk away for a minute when things get frustrating because it's not going well. Company should not offer to connect you with an install company if they don't plan on following through. Again, product is nice. Seems to be working great. The step is nice and wide and offeres a comfortable way in and out. Light is super bright at night. Installed on a 2025 jeep grand cherokee L

The running boards work great. They make it easier to get in the vehicle. The LED light makes it nice at nighttime to get into the vehicle. We have had many good comments about them from strangers.

They look great on our 2024 Grand Cherokee. I was able to do a self install using the video provided and a couple of calls to the seller. The install kit had all the necessary parts. I would suggest to the manufacturer that wiring through the OBD port would make the install easier. The OBD port is the method Amp-Research running boards uses to simplify the wiring process. Had a professional install the running boards. He wasn't familiar with this brand but said they fit perfectly and wasn't to bad to install. The video you sent was very helpful. They look great and I love the light that comes on when you open the door. Very pleased with the running boards.
I really like the looks, and work very well, but the instructions are a bit to be desired needs to be said Videos are just a example of the install. I did all the install on a 2021 Grand Cherokee 80th Edition 4th generation they call it. Everything is done on the passenger side under the seat where the battery is even exiting the battery compartment to under car. there is a hole at the bottom of the compartment to exit from, and wired to 2 yellow wires behind kick panel on the passenger side easy once you know which wires are what. mine were the 2 yellows 1 green striped other solid yellow the wires they are together in pin setup that trigger the locks or door opening the whole setup is is left in the battery compartment nice and tidy. Hope I helped others on the install. Good Luck.
The Autotech Trends running boards look great and saves my back climbing in and out of my 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. My son is a mechanic at High Lift Off-road in Cincinnati installed the running boards. It took a few hours and the installation was straightforward. His only suggestion for product improvement are the end caps for the boards only snap on feeling a bit loose. He plans to apply an adhesive to them to prevent them from potentially falling off, for example, at the car wash. They work flawlessly and I really appreciate the lights on the running boards.

I ordered these running boards for my 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee from AutoTech Trends from Saoussan. I received them on time and had them installed at a local shop.
