How it works: the convenience of our electric powered steps

Our electric powered running boards are designed to provide the ultimate convenience and enhance the functionality of your vehicle. These state-of-the-art running boards automatically extend when you open the door and retract when the door is closed, offering a seamless and sophisticated user experience. The steps extend out sufficiently to provide a stepping platform that is easily reached with your foot and it drops down to a height that is convenient to reduce the height your legs have to be raised to place your foot. In general, all our boards are designed to drop to a height that is around the half way mark between the ground and the door sill plate just inside the vehicle where you would normally lift your foot to, in order to step into the vehicle.

The integration of LED lighting is a standout feature of our running boards. When the steps are activated with the opening of the door, the LED lights turn on simultaneously, ensuring that you have clear visibility in all lighting conditions. This feature not only adds a layer of safety but also enhances the aesthetic appeal of your vehicle. The lights turn off within a second of the steps fully retracting, ensuring that the illumination is available exactly when needed without draining your battery unnecessarily.

Constructed from high-grade extruded aluminum and high-tensile strength carbon steel, our running boards are built to last. The materials are corrosion-resistant and feature Zinc galvanizing where applicable, ensuring durability even in harsh conditions. The steps are coated with a Thermoset powder coating that provides exceptional slip resistance, giving you a secure footing even in wet or icy conditions.
